Its probably a bit obvious Bob but here in Teignmouth, Devon we have several small firms who have smoking houses for several types of fish including Mackeral,mind as an ex-taxi man I doubt its that.
mackeral is a fish, quite tasty when smoked. I've had smoked mackeral as well as smoked chad. chad I found is a bit too boney for my liking. but living in the maritimes like I do, you grow up around sea food.

ReplyDeleteCans of smoked, and otherwise, mackerel (correct spelling) are right next to the tuna fish in most grocery stores
